1. About these terms

These terms govern use of Vet Talent Collective (the "Platform"), operated by [Legal Entity Name] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, posting a listing or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

The Platform is intended for use by veterinary professionals, veterinary employers and their authorised representatives in Australia. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • post inaccurate, misleading or discriminatory content;
  • post job advertisements that breach Australian workplace laws;
  • impersonate another person, clinic or organisation;
  • scrape, resell or redistribute Platform content;
  • upload malicious code or interfere with the Platform's operation.

4. Content & moderation rights

We may review, edit, remove or refuse to publish any content submitted to the Platform — including employer profiles, job listings and candidate content — where we consider it inaccurate, unlawful, unsafe or otherwise contrary to these terms. Removal may occur without prior notice. We are not obliged to actively monitor content but reserve the right to do so.

5. Employer listings & payments

Employer accounts may purchase paid job listings and add-ons. All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to GST where applicable. Listings are one-off placements with a defined visibility period; unless expressly stated, listing fees are non-refundable once the listing has been published.

Where a listing is removed for breach of these terms, no refund is payable. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 9).

6. Candidate use & job alerts

Candidate accounts are free. You may save searches, follow employers and subscribe to job alerts. Job alerts are sent only with your consent and can be paused or deleted at any time from your dashboard. Every alert email includes a functional unsubscribe mechanism as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, code, brand marks and curated data, is owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

8. Third-party links & apply-out

Many listings link out to an employer's own careers site or email address to receive applications. We are not responsible for the content, practices or privacy handling of third-party destinations. Where possible, we recommend you review the destination site before submitting personal information.

9. Disclaimers & Australian Consumer Law

The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. Except for guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), we make no warranties as to the accuracy, suitability or availability of any content or service.

Where non-excludable consumer guarantees apply, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the relevant service or refunding the price paid for it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform, including loss of business opportunity or loss of data. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where required by law. On termination, published content may be retained where necessary for record-keeping, moderation or legal compliance.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

14. Contact
